About Adam

Adam Richards is a passionate young driver with a strong natural talent with a vast amount of experience to draw from. He was crowned New Zealand Drift Champion in 2005, has represented his country on the international stage on 2 occasions (World Drift Championship, USA) and more recently competed in the 2008 European Drift Championship where he placed 2nd in the All of Europe final in Poland.

A mechanic | fabricator by trade, Adam has a long history of building, maintaining, fabricating and constantly pushing the boundaries of modifying race & drift cars. Adam has experience not only as a racing | drift driver, but also as a stunt driver and is often called upon for precision driving in movies, TV series & commercials. You may have seen Adam driving on such shows as Shortland Street and more recently Outrageous Fortune.

A pioneer of drifting in New Zealand, Adam is well respected by his peers and is often involved in tutoring up and coming drivers at the grass roots level. Adams aim this year is to win the National Championship and represent New Zealand on the world stage once again.
